We will not let the BJP retake Maharashtra in 2024: Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut stated Friday that the “BJP colours are fake and adulterated,” and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) agreed with NCP head Sharad Pawar that the BJP would not be allowed to come to power in Maharashtra in 2024.

“No one is afraid of BJP. It is wrong for BJP to try to demoralise MLAs, MPs and leaders of MVA by making false allegations and mudslinging. Sharad Pawar’s assurance that ‘don’t be afraid, I will not allow BJP to come to power in Maharashtra again’ is not only the stand of NCP but also of MVA,” Raut said to mediapersons.

Raut was replying to inquiries about Opposition leader Devendra Fandavis’ claim that the BJP will form the government on its own in 2024. “Fadanvis’s morale has increased after the BJP’s victory in Goa. But he will soon understand what Goa is. Neither Portugese nor British understood Goa. Many political parties also didn’t understand Goa and its politics,” said Raut.

“Every day, our BJP friends provide us with fresh dates. All of them are fake and adulterated colours that are banned by the Centre. We’re not scared of their fake colours. While Holi occurs just once a year, their drama continues every day. Many potholes have been dug in Maharashtra too if we start playing drama. We’ll watch who falls into it and who is pushed into them.,” Raut added.

Raut went on to say that the Shiv Sena is a big party that is competing with the BJP. “BJP attacks from behind and such political attacks need to be digested. We are digesting them. It has been two-and-a-half years of the Thackeray government and it will last for another two-and-a-half years. Then we will be back in power for the next five years,” he added.
