#RestorativeJusticeWeek- Listening for Justice Beyond Punishment at Enfold, Bengaluru [3rd Series of Community Gathering; Nov 19, 22 & 24]: Register Now!

Enfold, Bengaluru is organising 3rd series of Community Gathering #RestorativeJusticeWeek- Listening for Justice Beyond Punishment on 19, 22 & 24 November 2023.

About Enfold

Enfold was started in 2001 (and registered as a trust in 2002) by Dr Shaibya Saldanha and Dr Sangeeta Saksena in response to the lack of discourse on sexuality, silence and apathy around gender based violence and child sexual abuse in India.

They saw the after effects of this in their day to day practice as gynaecologists. They began conducting sessions on gender equity, sexuality and personal safety education in schools (from grade 1 through 12) and colleges with the aim of creating safer spaces and preventing sexual and gender based violence against children and adults.

About the Event

Enfold Proactive Health Trust invites you to “Listening for Justice Beyond Punishment” – a 3-part series that will focus on exploring, experiencing and discussing approaches to justice that go beyond traditional punitive measures. This series will provide us the space to engage in dialogue related to justice, particularly focusing on restorative and transformative approaches.

What does justice beyond punishment look or feel like? How do we pivot towards practicing restorative justice? What are the skills we need? This space is for anyone seeking answers to similar questions. You’re welcome to join any or all of the 3 gatherings! All are free of cost.
