The compound wall of a residential society in the Balaji Nagar area of Pune collapsed due to heavy rain Friday evening.
A car near the compound wall got damaged in the incident. No casualties were reported, said the Pune Fire Brigade.

The control room of the Pune Fire Brigade received a call about the wall collapse around 6 pm. A team led by fire officer Pradip Khedekar rushed to the spot.
“The compound wall of the Sadguru society in Balaji Nagar, which is located near the nullah that comes flowing from Katraj, collapsed due to rain. A car parked near the compound wall also slipped and overturned near the nullah. Nobody was injured in the incident,” said Khedekar.
Meanwhile, till 9 pm, the Pune Fire Brigade control room received six calls about tree felling in different parts of the city. Fire brigade teams used equipment to clear the spots. No person was hurt in any of these incidents, said fire officials.
