Priyanka Chopra, on Saturday, held a special puja in remembrance of her late father Dr Ashok Chopra. For the same, she got her daughter Malti Marie dressed in a traditional outfit. As Malti channelled her inner desi girl, she looked cute as a button. The happy mother took to social media to post photos of her little one, leaving fans gushing over her.
She first posted a photo of Malti walking as she held someone’s hand, looking at her belly. Priyanka wrote with her picture, “Someone found her belly button in her gorgeous lehenga by @poojarajpaljaggiofficial.” The lavender lehenga had lace and embroidery details, a sleeveless crop top, and a dupatta, and the one-year-old looked lovely in it.
In the next photo, Malti Marie was seen crawling on the floor, as she explored flowers and other elements kept for the ceremony. Priyanka wrote with the same, “Puja time, miss you Nana.” The global star also shared another photo where Malti Marie, now changed into a romper, sat on a high chair in front of a table that had her late grandfather’s photo, some candles, flowers and a small mandir. The picture seemingly was taken after the puja.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed Malti Marie in January 2022 via surrogacy. The couple had posted a joint statement on social media announcing the arrival of their first child writing, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”
Malti Marie had recently joined her parents on her first trip to India. Priyanka even took time out from her promotions of Citadel and went to Siddhivinayak Temple with Malti.
