The directions came during a review meeting for tourism development held in Mumbai Thursday.

“The officials have been directed to submit the report in one month. The government will make financial provisions for it,” Pawar said in a tweet.

“Lonavala is a major tourism centre in Maval taluka. I told the officials to keep in mind adventure sports for children while preparing the tourism development for the region. The development should be environment-friendly. The tourism department has also been directed to take urgent steps in this direction,” he added.

The Deputy Chief Minister said he has also directed officials to make provision for safety and security of tourists while preparing the plan. “Instead of setting up concrete pathways, stone pathways should be set up. Besides, parking and other necessary facilities should be ensured in the plan,” he said.
