The total number of applications received for UG programmes was nearly 10,578 by the university after the introduction of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) in 2022.

Hostels
The university provides hostel services for students. It has 5 boys hostels, 2 girls hostels and one separate hostel for international students. The hostels have wifi services, computer lab and mess.
History
Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya was established in 1997 by an act passed by the Indian parliament. The university has 8 schools. It was established to fulfil Mahatma Gandhi’s dream that Hindi should gain the status of a world language.
